NorPix DSA Pulse box: When you need to capture to disk from multiple cameras with all cameras exposing at the same time
NorPix Pulse Generator and Digital Signal Amplifier (DSA) is able to keep cameras in sync so that they expose at the exact same time, hardware triggering is requested at the camera level.
The Pulse/DSA box provides both functionalities: Pulse generator and digital signal amplifier.
The Arduino Pulse Generator Module allows you to control the cameras trigger signal.
The Pulse/DSA box provides both functionalities: Pulse generator and digital signal amplifier.
Pulse Generator:
- 1 Hz up to 1000 Hz.
- Includes StreamPix Pulse Generator Module for control.
- USB 2.0 controlled.
Digital Signal Amplifier:
- Power switch with a flip function to power on and off.
- Duty cycle control.
- Synchronize all camera exposure from a single external sync signal or internal pulse generator.
- Synchronize up to 8 cameras per Pulse/DSA box.
- Provides power along with sync signal to each camera.
- No delay on exposure compared to master slave setup.
- Multiple Pulse/DSA boxes can be daisy chained to control more than 8 cameras.
- 12 or 24v DC external PSU provided with each Pulse/DSA box.
- DC 12v power.
- Front LEDs will toggle based on the pulse frequency.
The DSA functions in two methods:
- As a pulse and power relay box for sending an incoming trigger pulse from its front BNC input to each of the connected cameras.
- As a power and pulse generator for each connected camera.
The DSA now includes an Arduino Uno microcontroller and extra electronic components to reformat and drive the pulse signal to the cameras. A proper driver must be installed in order to control the Arduino Pulse Gen Module. A proper driver will enable the operating system (OS) to be recognized when connected to a USB port.
