CoaXPress Camera Recording Station at 3.5 Gigabytes per second<\/p><\/div>\n

In the past two years, the introduction of high speed and high resolution CoaXPress cameras has generated a considerable increase in data rates. NorPix has kept pace with this emerging technology to record from these cameras direct to disk without compression or image degradation.<\/p>\n

StreamPix 6 software<\/a>\u00a0works with all the major producers of CoaXPress frame grabbers and cameras. In the example below, StreamPix can record from 2 synchronized CoaXPress cameras to 3.5 Gigabytes per second without dropping frames.<\/p>\n

This setup records in synchronized mode from 2 cameras at 70 frames per second with a camera resolution of 25MP for a total amount of data of 3.5 Gigabytes per second. Lowering resolution and increasing the frame rate is also possible, depending on each camera and frame grabber.<\/p>\n

This setup was built by NorPix using carefully selected off the shelf hardware, StreamPix software, CoaXPress cameras and compatible frame grabbers. NorPix\u2019s two main software packages, StreamPix and TroublePix<\/a>, support all of the major manufacturers of CoaXPress cameras and frame grabbers.<\/p>\n
